New rules of behaving at the beaches in communidad Valenciana

Gouvernment from Valencia made new rules of behaving on and near the beaches. The decision to put these new rules in operacion is in hands of each City-Town-hall himself. First they´ll need an OK to start the operacions after having a conference. By ignoring the rules you can count with a fix fine.

So,when you´re driving with your boat nearer then 200 meters from the beach away, it can cost you maximum 3.000 Euro fine. Following rule is new : Making a reservation (placing) from your beacchair on a nice place or laying a beachtowel down as your own reservation and/or placing an umbrella , and leaving the beach to come back a couple of hours later , can cost you maximum 750 Euro fine. Further it isn´t allowed to use the foot-shower for cleaning your dishes or using soap,shampoo or gel. Also not allowed is , to take glassbottles or any other material of glass to the beaches , with the exception of when you took it away by a chiringuito (Beachbar).

But there´s more , a whole list with not exepted items as : It isn´t allowed : to make an open fire at the beach, excepted in the night of San Juan from 23rd to 24th of June. to take glassbottles to the beach or cooking food. to sell alcoholic drinks without permission. to use chairs or beds from aluminium or iron. to go/walk with your pet(s) on the beachs. Wind & kitesurfing is only allowed on special marked places. Every misbehaving has his own note and can be fined with a minimum or a maximum fine.

A light-weight misbehaving can be:

• ignoring from hygienic rules.
• loud playing music or using other machines.
• to use the beach or the sea as a private toilet.
• using soap, gel or shampoo to take a shower or to wash yourself in the sea.

On this kinds of leight-weight misbehavings is a fine from maximum 750
Euro waiting for you.

A heavy-weight misbehaving can be:

• going into the sea during the time the red flag is on the beach (Red flag wil mean : stricktly forbidden to swim)
• making fire.
• using a barbeque.
• using gascontainers without explicit permission.

On this kinds of heavy-weight misbehavings is a fine from minimum 751
Euro and maximum 1.500 Euro waiting for you.

A very Heavy-weight misbehaving can be:

• dropping garbage on the beach or in the sea.
• Making without permission commercial about activitie´s with a fixed or portable soundinstallation.
• driving with watervehicles (also jet-ski and surfboard) into a reach of 200 meters from the beach away.

maximum 3.000 Euro waiting for you.
